My Best Friend!

Every single day I ask myself how I can be so blessed with the people that have opened their hearts and allowed to be a part of their lives. I have found the greatest best friend that could ever exist in this world. We have only known each other for just over a year and a half and I question how I could have lived without her in my life before meeting her. Starting college was a scary experience...my first time living on my own, my first taking care of myself completely, my first time not having to worry about rules and so many other firsts. It was also the first time that a friend entered my life and I knew that we had to be friends until the very end. My first year of college was very memorable with Madde by my side through absolutely everything that ever happened. After the school year we both went back to our hometowns and unfortunately they are about two and a half hours away from one another. The summer wouldn't have been so horrible if we were both going to the same college for our second year but sadly that wasn't the case. She decided to stay closer to home as I went back to the University where everything reminded me of something that Madde and I had done the previous year. At first it was really tough because Madde was not there when I needed her but as time went by things got better. Thank goodness for the invention of instant messaging because without it I would have been completely lost. There were times throughout the year that things were really hard for us and the distance was taking a toll on a friendship that we thought could survive anything and everything. Thankfully the friendship has survived the extremely hard times we had and it is stronger then I could have ever wished for.

She is a friend that could never be replaced and I am so thankful I have her in my life. She is unbelievable, she is always there for me no matter what happens and that is one thing that I need so much in a friendship. Without her I wouldn't be who I am today. Thank you so much for being my best friend Madde!
